We hope to give everyone, kids and adults alike, an equal opportunity to discover the intricacies of this deeply analytical and remarkably creative game. We want to build a collaborative community of chess enthusiasts of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. We believe chess can be learned and enjoyed by everyone!

About

When the pandemic hit in 2020, it changed the lifestyles of everyone around the world. Ming realized that many people were turning to chess in their spare time, so he founded SimplyChess which provided free weekly online lessons and monthly tournaments. As our team grew, we expanded our programs to provide more opportunities for chess players of all ages to practice and improve. In 2022, we officially established SimplyChess as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
